After plenty of hard research and hazy afternoons tasting I am pleased to present our wine list, which I hope will make interesting reading.
The list starts with ‘Our Recommendations’ which are all available by the glass and which represent, what we believe are above average everyday wines, that are easy to drink and represent good value.
To enable you to make a suitable choice I have catergorised the remaining wines under ‘Old World’ and ‘New World’ and have tried to give only the relevant information, as I’m no Jilly Goolden!!
Look out for the ‘Camel Valley’ wines from Cornwall, they are fast gaining a well earned reputation, and we do like to support our local producers.
I am particularly proud of our New World Pinot Noirs and also the more unusual white varietals; Riesling, Pinot Gris, Roussanne and Viognier- all of which create rich, fruity yet dry wines.

We are grateful to our two wine merchants for their invaluable assistance compiling this list. Charles Lea of Lea and Sandeman, London and Andrew Firth of Playford Ros, Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
